BAC’s CaptureSelect^® Proteomics Depletion Products

-A disposable and high throughput solution for depletion of abundant proteins from human serum- 

The product will deplete the following abundant proteins from human serum:

Albumin, IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE, IgD and free light chains, Transferrin, Fibrinogen, alpha-1 anti-Trypsin, Apolipoprotein A1 ,Alpha-2 Macroglobulin, alpha-1 acid Glycoprotein and Haptoglobin.

The key benefits of the CaptureSelect product range for proteomics sample preparation will be:

•       > 99.9% albumin removal and >99% of all Ig’s (including IgG, A, M etc)
•       Removal of >99% of each individually targeted protein from serum,
•       No non-specific binding since the ligands are specific to each targeted serum protein
•       No batch-to-batch variation of the depletion products
•       Highest reported loading possible as compared with competing products
•       Single use disposable as opposed to multiuse with all competing products

The product is currently undergoing beta-testing and expected launch date is Q3 2010.
