Human IgG ligand

This specific product is an anti Human IgG ligand, tailor made for the depletion of Human IgG from Human plasma. Due to it’s high affinity and specificity it is optimally suited for single use depletion before proteomics analyses. It shows no crossreactivity with other Human Plasma proteins. No crossreactivity to Bovine, Mouse or Goat IgG is observed. The epitope of the anti Human IgG ligand is a unique amino acid sequence on the Fc of Human IgG, ensuring binding of all 4 Human IgG subclasses.

The Human IgG and Human Serum Albumin ligand can be used in tandem to deplete Human serum or plasma from the HSA and IgG. When proteomics analyses is performed using these samples depleted from HSA and Human IgG, higher resolution 2D gels of mass spec results can be obtained. An example of this is shown here.
