About CaptureSelect

CaptureSelect^® products are affinity ligands created by a proprietary technology based on Camelid derived single domain antibody fragments. The ligand is a 12 kD single domain fragment which comprises the 3 CDR’s that form the antigen binding domain, efficiently produced by the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

CaptureSelect^® products possess a combination of unique properties such as stability, affinity, and selectivity that provides competitive benefits in terms of reduced cost of purification, higher quality product, and increased flexibility in the purification process. Tunable Specificity
The specificity of the ligand can range from broad to very narrow; species, subclass, format, glycoform, isomer, idiotype etcetera. Specific features can be incorporated into the screening process, like elution conditions and stability against cleaning agents.

Optimal Affinity
The binding affinity is in the nmol range and can be optimized for both capture and scavenging applications.

Excellent Quality
As the DNA is amplified by PCR, subsequently cloned and expressed in bakers yeast, the ligands are non-animal derived. The elegant way of production results in superior products with an excellent and constant quality.
